Apps Support Analyst 1

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance existing applications and their operating environments through system analysis and troubleshooting.
• Analyze existing system logic to recommend necessary enhancements or fixes.
• Conduct fact-finding activities and document technical requirements.
• Partner with development and production support teams to achieve area objectives.
• Assess risk when making business decisions to safeguard the firm, its clients, and its assets.
• Exchange technical information and ideas in a concise, logical, and professional manner.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Basic experience in an Application Support role.
• Knowledge of banking applications and server infrastructure.
• Understanding of Operating Systems.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

• Interest in production management and process improvement.
• Experience or interest in the standardization of technical procedures and practices.
• Ability to apply previous experiences to evaluate options in non-standard circumstances.
