About the role
Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance existing applications and their operating environments through system analysis and troubleshooting.
- Analyze existing system logic to recommend necessary enhancements or fixes.
- Conduct fact-finding activities and document technical requirements.
- Partner with development and production support teams to achieve area objectives.
- Assess risk when making business decisions to safeguard the firm, its clients, and its assets.
- Exchange technical information and ideas in a concise, logical, and professional manner.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Basic experience in an Application Support role.
- Knowledge of banking applications and server infrastructure.
- Understanding of Operating Systems.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Interest in production management and process improvement.
- Experience or interest in the standardization of technical procedures and practices.
- Ability to apply previous experiences to evaluate options in non-standard circumstances.
