Apprenticeship - Metal Technology/Machining

Responsibilities

• Produce workpieces through subtractive manufacturing techniques including drilling, milling, turning, and grinding
• Process components such as axles, shafts, bearings, bolts, wedges, and discs
• Plan work steps and select necessary tools, materials, and standard parts
• Operate both conventional machine tools and computer-controlled (CNC) systems
• Set up machine tools and production equipment, verify functions, and perform simple maintenance and repairs
• Create, program, and modify manufacturing programs for CNC machines

Requirements

• Completed compulsory school
• Strong interest in technology, electrical machines, and electricity
• Ability to visualize and draw 3D spatial objects
• Precise, clean, and reliable work ethic
• Quick learner with strong teamwork skills and an interest in professional development
