Apprentice System and Network Administrator

Responsibilities

• Perform system and network administration for the Airbus Cybersecurity site in Rennes
• Manage server room rack urbanization and hardware organization
• Support project-specific administration needs and user requests
• Implement automation and scripting to optimize workflows
• Conduct Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and technological monitoring related to CyberDefense administration
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations to the engineering team

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a BAC +4 level engineering program specializing in systems, networks, or security
• Strong proficiency in Linux (RedHat/CentOS, Debian/Ubuntu) and Windows operating systems
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell, Python, or PowerShell
• Understanding of network protocols and basic firewalling (Iptables, firewalld)
• Knowledge of virtualization, containerization, and configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, etc.)
• General knowledge of cybersecurity principles and OS hardening techniques
• Fluency in French and advanced proficiency in English
