Apprentice, Software Development/Engineering

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software applications or databases
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code or SQL queries under the guidance of senior engineers
• Participate in requirement discussions, sprint ceremonies, and technical documentation
• Support debugging, troubleshooting, and issue resolution across various applications
• Execute manual and automated tests to validate software quality and reliability
• Support data analysis, modeling, and the development of Power BI dashboards and reports
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, product, and operations

Requirements

• Must be a graduate from the 2026 batch
• Must have zero prior full-time work experience (internships and academic projects are acceptable)
• Must not have an existing Provident Fund account
• B.E. or B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline
• Legal eligibility to work in India for the duration of the program
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript
• Basic understanding of database concepts (SQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle)
• Exposure to version control systems like Git
• Interest in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and AI-enabled automation tools
• Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS) or data visualization tools (Power BI)
