Apprentice Production Tooling Engineer

Responsibilities

• Participate in a multi-disciplinary team to design production tooling
• Evaluate tooling solutions for new products and manufacturing processes
• Conduct studies on new tooling to demonstrate robustness for developed processes
• Receive and validate new or modified tooling
• Provide technical assistance and support for the manufacturing of elementary parts
• Contribute to cost estimation, expense forecasting, and project planning
• Stay updated on new technologies, materials, and systems to propose innovative solutions
• Ensure all technical requests are addressed within a 48-hour timeframe

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a BAC +5 level student program (Master's level)
• Basic knowledge of CAD/CAM (CFAO)
• Proficiency in Office tools, VBA, and GANTT charts
• Advanced level of English
• Advanced level of French
• Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work autonomously and act as a proactive problem solver
