Apprentice Metal Machinist

Responsibilities

• Complete basic metal training in the training workshop (filing, drilling, milling, turning)
• Operate machines and systems for mechanical property testing (hardness, tensile, bending, and shear tests)
• Operate, program, and maintain CNC turning machines
• Perform minor maintenance and servicing tasks on machines and systems
• Attend vocational college (Berufskolleg Platz der Republik) in Mönchengladbach

Requirements

• At least a Fachoberschulreife
• Interest in STEM subjects (MINT)
• Manual dexterity and enthusiasm for technology
• Ability to work well in a team
• Concentrated and hands-on work ethic
