Apprentice HVAC Installer

Responsibilities

• Assist Journeyman HVAC installers in the installation and maintenance of HVAC systems
• Seal duct work and perform painting tasks
• Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Participate in the installation of ductwork, refrigeration systems, and other HVAC components
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning filters and checking system performance
• Help troubleshoot HVAC system issues and assist with repairs
• Adhere to safety protocols and building codes on job sites
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 or more years of recent HVAC experience
• Basic mechanical skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Physical capability to lift heavy equipment and work in various conditions
