Apprentice Harnessing Technician

Responsibilities

• Manufacture wire harnesses for aerospace and defense applications
• Cut wires, operate complex machinery, and label applications
• Interpret schematics and build compliant electrical assemblies
• Perform basic electrical tests including continuity and insulation resistance
• Write documentation for development processes and operations
• Support ad-hoc projects to ensure efficient harness builds

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years in manufacturing or customer service, or an associates degree in engineering, math, or science
• Experience in fast-paced environments like construction, food services, or manufacturing
• Ability to review work instructions and multitask
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. unassisted
• Ability to stand for extended periods (minimum of 8 hours)
• Ability to stoop, bend, crawl, and work in confined spaces

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with electronics, electromechanical assembly, or environmental testing
• Experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry
• Ability to read electrical schematics
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical systems or electrical faults
