About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform optical and photogrammetric measurements of existing satellite antennas to digitize their geometry
- Exploit and model collected measurements to analyze antenna data
- Search for the meridian of the paraboloid of the antennas
- Prescribe geometric modifications required to adjust and optimize antenna geometry
- Formalize and instrument processes for the geometric optimization of SatCom antenna reflectors
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a BAC +4 or +5 degree program in surveying or geomatics
- Mastery of optical measurement devices such as theodolites and tachymeters
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Knowledge of mathematical algorithm development (e.g., Matlab, Python)
- Advanced level of English and fluency in French
- Strong writing skills, rigor, and autonomy
