Apprentice Electrician

Responsibilities

• Assist Journeymen and other employees with electrical tasks and operations
• Visualize, measure, and estimate work for various job situations
• Determine material needs and routing options for conduit, wires, and systems
• Define and label wires, conduits, and apparatus to ensure safety
• Perform field work, installations, and vehicle maintenance
• Maintain work order accuracy and keep equipment/tools stocked
• Assist newer apprentices with orientation and learning
• Attend safety meetings and professional development sessions

Requirements

• Registered Electrical apprentice (Minimum level 3)
• High School Diploma
• Experience in industrial, commercial, or institutional electrical work
• Valid Driver's License with a clear abstract
• Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Good numeracy skills and attention to detail
• Ability to adhere to all Health and Safety standards
