Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safe work habits and comply with company safety requirements
• Measure, cut, and bend conduit using tape measures and hand tools
• Pull electrical wire and cable in conduit using manual and power equipment
• Install electrical raceways, wire, conduit, lighting fixtures, controls, machinery, and electrical distribution equipment
• Operate power tools such as drills, saws, pullers, and tuggers
• Assist experienced Journeyworker electricians with various tasks
• Maintain proper care for materials, tools, and equipment

Requirements

• Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
• One or more years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to physically lift up to and in excess of 75 pounds unassisted
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions and varying climates
• Ability to travel out of town and stay overnight as required
• Ability to work from various heights via ladders, scaffolds, and aerial lifts
• Ability to work in restricted or confined spaces
