Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical/electronic components of industrial machinery
• Measure, cut, and bend conduit using tape measures and hand tools
• Pull electrical wire and cable in conduit using manual and power equipment
• Install electrical raceways, wire, conduit, lighting fixtures, controls, machinery, and electrical distribution equipment under supervision
• Operate power tools such as drills, saws, pullers, and tuggers
• Demonstrate safe work habits and comply with company safety requirements
• Maintain proper care for materials, tools, and equipment

Requirements

• Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or one or more years of related experience
• Ability to lift up to and in excess of 75 pounds unassisted
• Ability to climb ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts, and work from various heights
• Ability to work in confined spaces such as manholes, utility tunnels, and crawl spaces
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, mud, dust, snow)
• Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, stooping, squatting, crawling, and kneeling
• Ability to work a 40-hour work week with overtime and off-hour shifts as required
• Ability to travel out of town and stay overnight as required
