Apprentice Electrician

Responsibilities

• Learn to install electrical services including lighting, socket circuits, domestic rewires, and heating systems
• Carry out day-to-day repairs, fault finding, and troubleshooting of electrical issues
• Inspect and test electrical installations to ensure safety and compliance standards are met
• Attend a day release programme at a local college to develop theoretical and practical knowledge
• Work under the supervision of experienced electricians to acquire hands-on field experience
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines in a professional environment

Requirements

• GCSE English grade C/4 or above
• GCSE Maths grade C/4 or above
• Valid UK driving licence with the ability to drive manual transmission vehicles
• Strong timekeeping, attendance, and professional communication skills
• Ability to follow directions and a strong eagerness to learn
• Must have the legal right to work in the UK without sponsorship
