Apprentice Electrician

Responsibilities

• Assist electricians with diagnosing, repairing, assembling, and installing diverse electrical components and systems
• Interpret electrical blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements
• Utilize a variety of tools and techniques to complete electrical tasks effectively
• Order electrical parts and maintain accurate work logs
• Identify defects, troubleshoot malfunctions, repair equipment, and replace defective parts
• Collaborate with electricians and other team members to solve problems

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Currently enrolled in an Electrical Apprenticeship program
• Basic understanding of electrical work and terminology
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
• Aptitude for using tools and performing technical tasks
• Ability to lift, lower, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for extended periods
• Ability to participate in drug and alcohol programs for safety-sensitive positions

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience assisting electricians or working in a related field
• Familiarity with specific electrical codes and regulations
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
