Bertke Electric Co. has been delivering top-notch electrical services to the Greater Cincinnati area since 1928. We’ve had the privilege of contributing to some of Cincinnati’s landmark buildings and specialize in electrical service work, maintenance, and safety training.

Responsibilities

• Assist journeyman electricians in installing electrical systems, wiring, lighting, and equipment
• Participate in routine maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and replacements
• Interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams
• Use testing devices to check functionality and identify faults
• Adhere to safety protocols and mitigate electrical hazards
• Maintain a clean work environment and accurate records of work performed
• Travel to job sites within the Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana area

Requirements

• Enrollment in an accredited electrical apprenticeship program is required
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and principles
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely
• Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, kneel, and crouch for extended periods
• Comfort working in various weather conditions

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in electrical, construction, or a related field
