Apprentice and Advanced Assembler

Responsibilities

• Assemble industrial air compressor and vacuum system components
• Perform mechanical assembly using hand and power tools
• Assist with wiring motors, panels, and electrical components
• Read work instructions, drawings, and basic schematics
• Install motors, pumps, tubing, and fittings per drawings
• Perform basic plumbing tasks such as thread taping and tube flaring
• Follow testing procedures to ensure units operate properly
• Prepare finished units for shipment
• Maintain clean and organized work area
• Record scrap and production information as required
• Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet production goals

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Basic mechanical ability
• Longevity in previous jobs
• Comfortable using hand tools
• Willing to learn electrical and mechanical assembly
• Previous assembly, mechanical, or manufacturing experience preferred for advanced roles
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, or BOMs
• Experience with wiring, plumbing, or equipment assembly
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Able to stand, walk, kneel, and bend throughout the shift
• Comfortable using pallet jack and shop tools
