Apprentice AI Embedded Algorithm Developer

Responsibilities

• Develop AI and Machine Learning applications, including in-flight load estimators and image analysis algorithms.
• Handle sensor hardware and software integration, including cameras and LiDAR, and develop drivers for real-time data acquisition.
• Define and monitor data acquisition campaigns on test drones, including the development of test protocols and flight scenarios.
• Perform data analysis and algorithm development, including signal processing, detection, segmentation, and classification.
• Validate algorithm performance using quantitative metrics and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a BAC +5 level training program in Robotics, Signal Processing, Computer Science, or Embedded Systems.
• Proficiency in Python and/or C++ programming.
• Experience working within a Linux environment.
• Knowledge of scientific computing and data processing libraries such as NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, Open3D, and PCL.
• Advanced English and fluent French language skills.
• Strong scientific rigor, analytical mindset, and ability to work autonomously in a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of image processing or 3D point cloud processing.
• Previous experience or interest in drone technology.
