Apprenti Frigoriste 3ème année (CAA)

Responsibilities

• Participate in preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning of chillers and other HVAC equipment (rooftop units, cooling towers, air handling units, BAS systems, pumps).
• Assist experienced technicians with mechanical and electrical diagnostics and execute repairs according to established procedures.
• Perform planned maintenance tasks to ensure equipment reliability, performance, and durability.
• Provide professional and courteous service directly at client sites, representing Carrier's quality standards.
• Support Carrier Factory mechanical service teams during equipment startups and warranty interventions.
• Help identify failure causes, propose corrective actions, and apply approved solutions to reduce recurrences.
• Complete service documentation, including work reports and technical observations.
• Strictly apply health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.

Requirements

• DEP in refrigeration with 6,000 or more completed apprenticeship hours.
• Experience assisting with rooftop unit installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Valid Apprentice Competence Certificate (CCA) issued by the Commission de la construction du Québec (CCQ).
• Valid driver's license.
• Fluent verbal communication in French.

• TAG1 card is an asset.
• Strong autonomy and resourcefulness.
• Excellent time management, planning, and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
