Appraisal Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Place, track, and manage the delivery of appraisal services and conditions in accordance with department policies
• Manage the full lifecycle of appraisal orders, including assignment, scheduling, status follow-up, and revisions
• Serve as the primary point of contact for Appraisal Management Companies (AMC) and internal Production Staff
• Coordinate with Production Staff to obtain approvals for enhanced fees, rush requests, or revised turn times
• Review incoming appraisal reports for completeness and escalate discrepancies or deficiency requests
• Manage multiple reports and queues to ensure effective pipeline management and timely issue escalation
• Communicate file status and follow-ups with both internal and external customers

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Knowledge of investor and agency appraisal requirements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Mathematical proficiency, including the ability to calculate turn times, rates, ratios, and percentages
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and phone etiquette skills
• Ability to think critically and solve complex problems in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the mortgage industry (1 year or more preferred)
• Previous experience in Appraisal Management or a related field
