Applied ML Engineer

Responsibilities

• Research and build AI/ML systems that power matchmaking, ranking, and automation across the Paraform marketplace
• Own model development end-to-end, from data collection and labeling strategies to deployment, monitoring, and iteration in production
• Partner with product, AI engineers, and full-stack teams to ship systems that directly move marketplace metrics
• Build and maintain robust evaluation frameworks to continuously measure quality, bias, reliability, and business impact
• Set technical direction and best practices for AI/ML at Paraform
• Work with other engineers and raise the bar for how AI systems are designed, shipped, and maintained

Requirements

• 4–8 years of experience building and owning production AI and ML systems
• Experience with traditional ML and shipping systems with clear quality metrics and business impact
• Strong judgment around evaluation and measuring product priorities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with large-scale retrieval, ranking, NLP, or personalization systems
