About the role
Responsibilities
- Complete a two-year entry-level rotational program consisting of four technical assignments
- Alternate evenly between design engineering and manufacturing rotations
- Engage in concurrent educational and professional development provided by the company
- Participate in diverse engineering experiences including quality improvement, cost reduction, product reliability, and process improvement
- Develop technical problem-solving skills through advanced coursework and presentations to senior leadership
- Obtain GD&T Practitioner certification (paid for by the company)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or better) in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering field
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
- Ability to work onsite in LaFayette, GA
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous co-op or internship work experience
- Demonstrated leadership roles on campus or within the community
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical problem-solving skills
- A demonstrated desire for continuous learning and commitment to a technical engineering career
