Applied Data Science Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead a team of Data Scientists and Market Researchers, ensuring high-quality deliverables and fostering a culture of experimentation.
• Shape the scope of new propositions by translating commercial ideas into technical solution designs using AI and advanced analytics.
• Lead the development and delivery of Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) through rapid prototyping, testing, and iteration.
• Assess the technical feasibility, scalability, and commercial viability of new data science solutions.
• Drive innovation by exploring new machine learning techniques and new data sources to create differentiated value for CPG clients.
• Collaborate with Global Data Science teams to promote the reuse of science modules and code across the organization.

Requirements

• Proven experience in team leadership and managing technical professionals.
• Strong expertise in solution design and translating complex requirements into pragmatic work programs.
• Hands-on experience with MVP development, prototyping, and rapid experimentation.
• Advanced proficiency in machine learning, advanced analytics, and data science methodologies.
• Ability to work cross-functionally to bring technical concepts to life in a commercial environment.
