About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical service process throughout the sales cycle, delivering technical proposals and agreements.
- Plan and execute onsite catalyst services including loading, startup, and troubleshooting.
- Conduct performance evaluations and projections using proprietary design programs and digital solutions.
- Partner with customers to optimize operations and maximize catalyst performance and efficiency.
- Serve as the primary technical liaison, managing customer interactions and providing strategic feedback to internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, production, sales, and product management teams.
- Develop and maintain technical design guidelines and operating manuals.
- Analyze commercial data and case studies to enhance design and calculation tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical discipline.
- 1-5+ years of experience in chemical plant process engineering, catalyst technology, or technical service.
- Strong technical and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in technical software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to travel up to 50% throughout North and South America.
- US work authorization and the ability to travel to Canada.
