Applied Catalyst Technology Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical service process throughout the sales cycle, delivering technical proposals and agreements.
• Plan and execute onsite catalyst services including loading, startup, and troubleshooting.
• Conduct performance evaluations and projections using proprietary design programs and digital solutions.
• Partner with customers to optimize operations and maximize catalyst performance and efficiency.
• Serve as the primary technical liaison, managing customer interactions and providing strategic feedback to internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, production, sales, and product management teams.
• Develop and maintain technical design guidelines and operating manuals.
• Analyze commercial data and case studies to enhance design and calculation tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical discipline.
• 1-5+ years of experience in chemical plant process engineering, catalyst technology, or technical service.
• Strong technical and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in technical software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to travel up to 50% throughout North and South America.
• US work authorization and the ability to travel to Canada.
