Applied AI/ML Lead

Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders to understand business requirements
• Develop AI/ML solutions to address impactful business needs
• Work with team members to productionize end-to-end AI/ML solutions
• Engage in research and development of innovative relevant solutions
• Coach other AI/ML team members towards personal and professional success
• Collaborate across teams to attain the mission and vision of the team and the firm

Requirements

• 5+ years of applied software engineering experience
• Advanced degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
• Practical experience in supervised, unsupervised, and semi-supervised machine learning
• Strong experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP)
• Proficiency in Python and libraries such as TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn
• Experience with Spark, Hive, or SQL

Preferred Qualifications

• Practical experience applying LLMs to business problems
• Background in financial services
• PhD in a quantitative discipline
