Applied AI/ML Engineer - VP

Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced AI/ML models, agentic systems, and generative AI solutions to solve complex business problems.
• Write and deliver high-quality, robust code for AI-driven Home Lending Data & Analytics initiatives.
• Deploy and scale AI models to production environments while ensuring reliability, security, and compliance.
• Fine-tune foundation LLMs for optimal performance and efficiency.
• Collaborate with Data Owners, Reporting, and Analytics teams to integrate AI solutions into existing workflows.
• Manage the entire code lifecycle, from development through production deployment and ongoing maintenance.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Monitor AI performance continuously and make necessary adjustments to maintain accuracy.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional work experience.
• Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or Physics).
• Proven track record of delivering successful projects in the AI/ML and data analytics space.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Hands-on experience building Agentic systems, RAG systems, and working with foundation LLMs (e.g., GPT, Claude).
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, including version control, testing, and code optimization.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS Cloud Platform for deploying and managing machine learning models.
• Experience using Databricks for machine learning workflows.
• Experience in technical documentation.
