Applied AI Researcher

Responsibilities

• Architect and orchestrate massively parallel AI research workflows using agentic AI systems
• Design, train, and iterate on models across the GenAI stack including LLMs, VLMs, and reward models
• Conduct rigorous research into model architectures, training dynamics, and reinforcement learning
• Develop agentic research infrastructure, shared tooling, and evaluation harnesses
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to integrate research breakthroughs into production
• Document findings and publish research at top-tier venues

Requirements

• PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field, or MSc with 4+ years of research experience
• Experience training or fine-tuning neural models end-to-end
• Strong knowledge of probability, optimization, and linear algebra
• Experience building training or evaluation pipelines for real-world data
• Production-quality Python skills and fluency with Git

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with distributed training frameworks like PyTorch DDP, DeepSpeed, or FSDP
• Publications at top-tier venues such as NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, ACL, EMNLP, or CVPR
• Hands-on experience with post-training methods like RLHF, DPO, or reward modeling
• Practical experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) for ML workloads
