Applied AI Research Engineer

Responsibilities

• Study frontier work in traditional ML, LLMs, multimodal models, retrieval, and agentic systems to distill shippable ideas
• Partner with GTM and ops teams to identify high-ROI ML projects that unlock customer leverage
• Own the full ML lifecycle including data curation, training, evaluation, and deployment
• Integrate models into the real-time platform via robust APIs and streaming pipelines
• Set technical roadmaps and iterate based on real-world results

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience with cutting-edge ML techniques
• Proficiency in PyTorch or JAX and modern serving frameworks
• Proven track record of moving novel ML concepts from research to production with measurable impact
• Experience with ETL, feature stores, cloud-native infrastructure, and A/B experimentation
• Strong data engineering skills for working with complex real-world data streams and training pipelines
• Strong product intuition to translate business needs into technical solutions
