Applied AI ML Director

Responsibilities

• Lead technical direction and set the engineering vision for Applied AI/ML across multiple teams and geographies.
• Architect and deliver production-grade Agentic AI and AI/ML solutions using Java, Python, and modern AI frameworks.
• Design and deploy end-to-end AI systems, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures and intelligent agents.
• Champion AI4Tech adoption to accelerate developer productivity through AI-assisted tooling and workflow automation.
• Build and implement highly scalable, reliable data processing pipelines to power ML models and business analytics.
• Rapidly prototype emerging AI technologies to translate them into production-ready products.

Requirements

• Deep, hands-on proficiency in Java and Python with experience deploying AI/ML solutions in production.
• Demonstrated expertise in Agentic AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and LLM integration.
• Proven track record of technical leadership and influencing cross-functional engineering projects.
• Experience designing and implementing scalable data pipelines.
• Ability to translate complex business problems into pragmatic, scalable AI/ML solutions.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading developer productivity initiatives within a large-scale engineering organization.
• Familiarity with enterprise-scale ML platforms, MLOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to financial services or other highly regulated, high-scale environments.
