Applied AI Engineer

Responsibilities

• Identify and own high-leverage problems by embedding with Operations and DevOps teams
• Design and implement LLM-powered automations, agent workflows, and internal tools
• Build agentic systems that integrate with internal stacks like CRM and infrastructure tooling
• Drive adoption of shipped tools and define success metrics
• Document builds to ensure maintainability and scalability
• Help raise the company-wide AI ceiling through structured workflows and orchestration

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience building and shipping real-world AI projects
• Proficiency with AI-assisted coding tools like Claude, Cursor, or Copilot
• Working knowledge of Python and modern backend tooling
• Familiarity with LLM APIs, agentic patterns, and API/webhook integrations
• Ability to work on-site in Boston full-time
• High agency and ability to operate in ambiguous environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building multi-step agentic AI workflows (reasoning, tool use, orchestration)
• Exposure to RAG systems, embeddings, or vector databases
• Experience integrating SaaS systems such as HubSpot, Linear, Slack, or Jira
• Familiarity with MCP modules or agent-to-agent communication frameworks
• Exposure to frontend or full-stack development
• Background in SaaS, PropTech, or B2B operations
