Responsibilities

• Build AI tooling so that engineers can run complex safety and physics analyses
• Automate legacy simulation workflows for neutronics and other engineering tasks
• Integrate with internal tools like tickets, design-trees, and file management
• Build agents that handle triage, routing, and prioritization automatically

Requirements

• BS or higher in engineering, physics, chemistry, applied math, or related technical field
• Proficiency in Python and software engineering fundamentals
• Experience building tools or workflows using LLMs, AI agents, or modern AI techniques
• Ability to work extended hours and weekends as necessary

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in a hard STEM field (physics, chemistry, mechanical, electrical, nuclear, math)
• Ability to write clean, production-grade Python
• Fluency in AI applications such as RAG and tool-use architectures
• Proactive approach to identifying bottlenecks and prototyping solutions
