Responsibilities

• Build and ship AI agents that serve real users using tool-calling LLM systems and parallel API orchestration
• Design evaluation harnesses and quality scoring using Langfuse and rubrics
• Own the full lifecycle from prototyping and validation to deployment and monitoring
• Improve reliability, latency, and cost through prompt caching, token budgets, and observability
• Write tools for agents including API integrations with Pydantic validation and exercise search

Requirements

• Strong Python skills with experience deploying services on large production systems
• Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, or similar agent frameworks
• Hands-on experience with LLMs in production including prompt engineering and tool calling
• Proficiency with async Python, HTTP APIs, and streaming protocols
• Experience with data validation and schema design using Pydantic or JSON Schema
• Ability to debug across multiple layers from LLM tool calls to Terraform resources

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with AWS (Bedrock, ECR, CloudFront, S3, Cognito)
• Experience with observability tools like Langfuse, OpenTelemetry, or Datadog
• Exposure to evaluation frameworks such as LLM-as-a-judge
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-code using Terraform or CDK
