Applied AI Engineer

About the Company

Forus is building an AI-powered network that connects doctors, pharmacies, payers, and biopharma to accelerate new science to patients. Our platform automates the complexity between a doctor prescribing a medicine and a patient starting treatment, including insurance coverage, financial assistance, and supply chain navigation.

Responsibilities

• Scope and spearhead AI augmentation and automation projects including data extraction, summarization, and content generation
• Drive zero-to-one product development from conceptualization through production
• Stay on top of emerging AI methods and drive decisions around model selection, fine-tuning, and training
• Establish research strategies, experimentation, and evaluation protocols
• Prototype and productionize AI functionality and agents
• Develop engineering processes, tools, and systems to support faster AI product development and scaling

Requirements

• Strong programming skills and general Computer Science knowledge
• Experience driving AI projects end-to-end from model development to production deployment
• Proficiency with modern AI/ML technologies such as LLM APIs, PyTorch, or TensorFlow
• Strong foundation in full-stack web development (Python, React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and Kubernetes)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Track record of moving quickly and delivering on goals
