Applied AI Engineer

Responsibilities

• Ideate and build production-ready applications and autonomous systems using AI as the primary development interface.
• Use AI-first tools like Claude Code and Cursor to generate, refactor, test, and document code.
• Own the full development lifecycle from initial architecture and implementation to deployment and iteration.
• Build and deploy autonomous AI agents that perform continuous business functions and proactive tasks.
• Implement guardrails and feedback loops to review and improve AI-generated code at scale.

Requirements

• 2-8 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proven expertise in an AI-first development workflow (using tools like Cursor or Claude Code as primary interfaces).
• Strong full-stack development proficiency across frontend, backend, APIs, and databases.
• Demonstrated experience shipping production-grade software that handles real users.
• Ability to move fast, prototype rapidly, and iterate based on real-world feedback.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience experimenting with autonomous agent frameworks (e.g., Claude Agent SDK, OpenAI Codex agents).
• Proficiency with TypeScript, Python, and modern infrastructure like AWS, GCP, or Docker.
