Applied AI Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own and extend existing AI platforms and tooling to improve reliability and expand capabilities.
• Architect and build internal API layers and shared services for AI workflows and applications.
• Identify and build AI-powered tooling to create leverage across the Corporate IT Engineering stack.
• Develop and iterate on proof-of-concepts for automating internal workflows, such as anomaly detection and IT troubleshooting.
• Containerize and orchestrate AI workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform and Ansible.
• Establish AI development patterns and best practices across the organization.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with LLM-powered platforms, including RAG pipeline development and prompt engineering.
• Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript for building integrations and internal services.
• Strong AWS experience, including core services like EC2, EKS, S3, Lambda, and IAM.
• Deep expertise in Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Expertise in Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure-as-code and configuration management.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with agentic frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, or AutoGen.
• Familiarity with vector databases like Pinecone, Weaviate, or pgvector.
• Background building MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers or tools.
• Experience building internal developer platforms or shared API services.
