Applications Support Analyst

Responsibilities

• Monitor, assess, and evaluate application processes and data to identify enhancements and policy gaps
• Analyze existing system logic to recommend and implement fixes or enhancements
• Formulate and define scope and objectives for system changes through research and fact-finding
• Partner with development and production support teams to ensure seamless operations
• Participate in validation and testing activities for application updates
• Document requirements and maintain clear communication regarding technical issues
• Appropriately assess risk and drive compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in application support or a related technical role
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
• Familiarity with Abinitio, ETL processes, and Control Center
• Proficiency with UNIX/LINUX command-line operations
• Experience with Big Data concepts, including HIVE and Java Spark
• Foundational knowledge of Oracle SQL/PLSQL and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
• Experience using data visualization tools like Tableau
• Basic knowledge of AI and prompt engineering with a willingness to adapt AI to daily tasks
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
