Applications Specialist

Responsibilities

• Master installation and configuration of Wavetronix core products
• Demonstrate and troubleshoot Wavetronix products in the field
• Provide technical training to customers and groups
• Conduct technical site surveys and review project plans
• Diagnose technical problems and determine proper solutions
• Provide customer support both in the field and over the phone
• Document processes and produce detailed trip reports
• Manage on-site installation and configuration of products
• Keep track of current projects and support cases in CRM

Requirements

• At least 5 years of field service experience in traffic signal/ITS cabinets
• Basic understanding of networking
• Ability to travel 50% or more per month
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to execute presentations to large groups
• Willingness to work flexible shifts and adapt to changing schedules

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of field troubleshooting (networking, installation) or technical sales
• Technical degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) or Electrical Engineering Technology (EET)
• Certifications in ITS/traffic industry
