About the role
Responsibilities
- Maintain, configure, and support existing software solutions and implement new ones, including on-premises and cloud integrations.
- Act as a technical liaison with application vendors to troubleshoot issues and implement integrations.
- Build and maintain data integrations between campus systems using scripting, APIs, and database queries.
- Write and maintain scripts and programs to support data transformations and the automation of routine processes.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation related to application configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Ensure software applications adhere to industry standards, security protocols, and best practices.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1-3+ years of experience working with relational database management systems (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server) and writing SQL queries.
- 1-3+ years of experience writing scripts or programs for application integrations, data transformations, or process automation.
- Competency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Understanding of web services (REST and SOAP) and APIs.
- Knowledge of relational database structures and the application integration lifecycle.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical processes to non-technical clients.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, or Java.
- Experience with cloud-based platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Familiarity with college administrative systems such as Admissions, Student Records, or Finance.
