Applications Engineering Staff Engineer

Responsibilities

• Work on frontend synthesis and backend physical design tasks
• Utilize PnR tools such as ICCII and Fusion Compiler to drive design efficiency
• Leverage expertise in advanced process nodes and low power design methodologies
• Use scripting skills to automate complex design processes
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to solve high-value semiconductor problems

Requirements

• BS/MS degree in a relevant engineering field
• 12+ years of direct, hands-on semiconductor design experience
• Proficiency in backend physical design (frontend synthesis experience is a plus)
• Extensive experience with PnR tools including ICCII, Fusion Compiler, or similar EDA tools
• Solid scripting skills in languages such as Perl and TCL
• Business level English communication skills
