Applications Engineering Staff Engineer

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with R&D teams to drive product development and advanced HPC reference flow development.
• Demonstrate differentiated PPA results on CPU, GPU, and NPU designs to showcase technology superiority.
• Provide technical support to key global customers to address PPA bottlenecks and design challenges.
• Engage in worldwide critical benchmarks and deployments to ensure high-quality design performance.
• Utilize Perl and Tcl scripting languages for automation and optimization tasks.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in ASIC design flow, VLSI, and CAD development.

Requirements

• 15+ years of hands-on experience in synthesis or place and route (P&R).
• Expertise in advanced CPU, GPU, and NPU designs.
• Proficiency with EDA tools including DC, ICC2, and Fusion Compiler.
• Strong experience with scripting languages such as Perl and Tcl.
• Educational background in Electrical Engineering (EE) or Computer Science (CS).
• Excellent English communication and presentation skills for customer-facing interactions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working as an Application Engineer on customer project enablement.
• Deep expertise in Placement, CTS, and Route areas using Synopsys tools.
