About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide high-level technical support to customers, sales teams, and operational stakeholders
- Conduct site visits to collect operational data, perform inspections, and support product performance reviews
- Support the development of new products through data collection, reverse engineering, 3D scanning, and site measurements
- Generate concept CAD models and engineering drawings to support project requirements
- Assist with product specifications, bill of materials, technical documentation, and maintenance manuals
- Support testing activities, product validation, and regional product trials
- Review customer specifications and communicate technical requirements to Senior Design Engineers
- Monitor customer activity, product performance, and market trends to identify innovation opportunities
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering or Foundry Industrial Technology
- Experience in mining, heavy manufacturing, foundry, or industrial environments
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and CAD models
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and engineering standards
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities
Preferred Qualifications
- CAD qualifications or significant exposure to CAD software
- Experience supporting technical problem solving or site-based engineering activities
