About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as the key technical liaison for North American and European customers, addressing queries and resolving technical issues.
- Collaborate with internal Technology and Sales teams to ensure seamless product integration and support.
- Work with customer engineering and manufacturing organizations to maximize throughput and maintain quality standards.
- Partner with OEM partners to ensure necessary equipment, software, and processes exist for mass commercialization.
- Act as a conduit for customer feedback to help shape internal product strategies, sales plans, and technology roadmaps.
- Identify unmet customer needs and opportunities for product enhancements and innovation.
- Educate sales and account teams on technical product offerings to improve customer engagement.
- Monitor market trends and drive customer programs aligned with account plans and desired margins.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 1 year of industry experience as an Application Engineer.
- Experience in Manufacturing, Quality, or R&D environments.
- Proven commercial and technical experience working directly with customers.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to lead cross-functional, matrixed teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to large audiences.
- Ability to travel up to 25% both domestically and internationally.
