Applications Engineer

Responsibilities

• Review customer RFQs and specifications to identify appropriate product offerings.
• Prepare budgets and technical proposals for Pneumatic Conveying & Air Pollution Control products.
• Perform process engineering and equipment sizing calculations to ensure accurate specifications.
• Generate bills of material, estimates, technical datasheets, P&IDs, and project schedules.
• Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to obtain cost estimates for planned equipment.
• Provide technical correspondence to clients to clarify RFQ requirements.
• Work with Applications Designers to create general arrangement drawings.
• Travel to customer sites with Sales Managers for pre-bid meetings and proposal presentations.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the design of heavy industrial equipment.
• Proven experience in the design and cost-estimating of industrial process equipment.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong technical aptitude and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet aggressive deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in global project environments.
• Proficiency with digital engineering tools such as ACC and CAD.
