Applications Developer/Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-disciplinary Agile teams through sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily scrums
• Design and deploy scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, and GCP using Docker and Kubernetes
• Develop responsive web applications and backend services using React, Angular, Java, Python, and Node.js
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Git, Terraform, and Ansible
• Design and develop RESTful APIs and microservices for data exchange and system interoperability
• Build and manage ETL pipelines and optimize relational and NoSQL databases
• Implement DevSecOps practices and lead system accreditation efforts (ICD-503, RMF, ATO)
• Integrate AI/ML capabilities including NLP, deepfake detection, and recommendation engines
• Develop mobile and geospatial applications and support GIS integrations
• Create technical documentation, sprint reports, and stakeholder briefings

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Active security clearance with polygraph
• Experience leading Agile/Scrum teams and managing high-visibility projects
• Proficiency in full stack development, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps tools
• Experience with API design, microservices architecture, and database optimization
• Knowledge of cybersecurity accreditation, FISMA controls, and risk mitigation
