Applications and Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical expert during the quotation phase to support internal and external customers.
• Manage bids, including the selection of valves, sizing of actuators, and pricing of isolation valve products and field equipment.
• Propose technical resolutions for application-based projects by working closely with customers to understand their requirements.
• Coordinate the timely submission of quality offers in collaboration with Sales, Business Development, Legal, and PMO teams.
• Provide pre-sales and technical support to customers, business partners, and distributors.
• Attend pre- and post-order technical meetings with various stakeholders.
• Maintain and update CRM (Customer Relationship Management) data regularly.
• Ensure project requirements are accurately reviewed and seek necessary approvals before submitting offers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Instrumentation, or Chemical Engineering.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to establish priorities, multitask, and work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to manage complex situations under pressure with an assertive and detailed approach.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of isolation valve products, actuators, and instrument components.
• Understanding of metallurgy, material science, and fluid mechanics.
• Knowledge of destructive and non-destructive testing methods.
