Application/Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering projects and special orders from inception to completion
• Interact with sales engineers and customers to provide technical documentation and support
• Prepare and review critical documents including ITP, pump test reports, and specifications
• Analyze pump designs and test results to drive continuous product improvement
• Lead troubleshooting efforts for testing, manufacturing, and field service applications
• Develop and maintain pump selection spreadsheets and software for the sales team
• Provide technical support for field service and assist marketing with competitor evaluations

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in application or project engineering
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with technicians, sales, and customers
• Ability to perform intermittent domestic and international travel
• Capacity to sit for extended periods and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and specific vision abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Direct experience with centrifugal pumps
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with industry specifications for pumps, piping, and valves
• Proficiency with SolidWorks, CFD, or Visual Basic (VB)
