Application Tech Lead

Responsibilities

• Translate business and user requirements into robust, secure, and maintainable web and mobile applications
• Provide day-to-day technical guidance to the development team and conduct code reviews
• Design, develop, and maintain features using ReactJS, React Native, and Node.js
• Integrate applications with back-end databases like PostgreSQL and MSSQL and RESTful APIs
• Support deployment activities and hosting environments across Azure or AWS
• Document technical architecture, code changes, and issue resolutions
• Assist the Tech Lead in effort estimation and task breakdown

Requirements

• Proven hands-on proficiency in ReactJS and Node.js
• Strong proficiency in React Native
• Experience integrating applications with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MSSQL) and RESTful APIs
• Experience providing technical guidance or leading a small team or work stream
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns
• Knowledge of version control systems, specifically Git
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or Software Engineering

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
• Experience with public-sector projects
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices
• Relevant cloud certifications (Azure or AWS)
• Certification in Agile/Scrum methodologies
