Application Support & Training Specialist – HVAC/R

Responsibilities

• Deliver best-in-class application support to OEMs, wholesalers, contractors, and end users.
• Provide detailed technical solutions for product application, performance, and troubleshooting.
• Investigate product application and quality issues to identify root causes and recommend solutions.
• Perform and verify compressor inspections, controls, and equipment selections using Copeland tools.
• Create and deliver comprehensive training programs, including multi-day courses on product integration, installation, and service.
• Manage an annual training calendar aligned with sales, marketing, and technical services objectives.
• Travel to customer sites, wholesalers, and OEMs across Canada and the U.S. (approximately 30% travel).

Requirements

• High School Diploma.
• 3+ years of HVAC/R industry experience.
• Experience supporting OEMs, wholesalers, contractors, and end users.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada.
• Ability to travel to the United States for business meetings and related activities without employer sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certificate of Qualifications 313A (Commercial Refrigeration Mechanic) or currently enrolled in a technical college working toward certification.
• Previous experience teaching or delivering technical training.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
