Application Support Specialist

Responsibilities

• Deliver flawless production support, software deployment, and configuration
• Perform proactive monitoring to anticipate and avoid issues
• Maintain and enhance internal scripting and scraping tools, including HTML parsing and regex/JSONPath data extraction
• Provide support for proprietary trading systems across multi-platform production environments
• Provide technical support during trading operations to resolve mission-critical application issues

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years in an application support or development role
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals (multicast, TCP, routing)
• Experience with Linux and/or Windows environments
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end concepts
• Ability to write, test, and troubleshoot regular expressions (regex)
• Familiarity with browser developer tools, DOM inspection, and web page structure
• Working knowledge of JSONPath expressions, API integrations, and Docker containers
• Ability to work multiple schedules on a rotation (nights/early mornings) if needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash
• Previous experience in financial markets or with trading applications
• Experience with configuration management tools like Chef or Ansible
• Experience with monitoring suites such as Splunk, Kibana, or Grafana
• Experience maintaining web automation, scraping, or front-end tooling
