About the role
Responsibilities
- Deliver flawless production support, software deployment, and configuration
- Perform proactive monitoring to anticipate and avoid issues
- Provide support for proprietary trading systems across multi-platform environments
- Provide technical support during trading operations to resolve mission-critical issues
- Analyze trading strategies alongside traders and research teams
Requirements
- 2 to 3 years of experience in an application support role
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals including multicast, TCP, and routing
- Basic scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash
- Experience working in Linux and/or Windows environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work multiple schedules on a rotation (nights/early mornings)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in financial markets or with trading applications
- Experience with configuration management tools like Chef or Ansible
- Experience with Docker containers
- Experience with monitoring suites such as Splunk, Kibana, or Grafana
