Application Support, Senior Associate

Responsibilities

• Provide direct technical trading floor application support to DMC business partners
• Troubleshoot, analyze, and triage application and trading issues
• Monitor application environments for potential issues
• Assist in application maintenance and deployment activities
• Provide support for Disaster Recovery Testing
• Work within a 24/7 production environment

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
• 1-2 years of experience in a technical role within a financial institution
• Experience supporting large-scale, 24/7, mission-critical systems
• Experience in financial business processes
• Strong knowledge of Oracle and MS SQL
• Working knowledge of Unix/Linux, Windows, and cloud computing
• Working knowledge of Middleware (WebSphere, MQ Series, Autosys, etc.) and J2EE
• Familiarity with programming and scripting languages

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Foreign Exchange, Equities, or Securities Finance business process flows
